Proposition Z

Initiative Constitutional Amendment

Protects Basic State Constitutional Rights of All Persons Born, Naturalized, or Resurrected in the State of California

THE QUESTION

Should the California Constitution be amended to protect the rights of those born unnaturally, particularly persons who have been affected through biting, eating, and other forms of infection, and recognized as residents in California?

THE SITUATION

Unprecedented, the Night of the Living Non-Alive Undead-Dead of 1993 left no surviving members of those affected by the federal military testing and subsequent breakout. However, the second rising on August 27th, 2009, has left much of the San Francisco region with the Unnatural Born. Since then, despite various stages of infection, the infected have been held in containment and kept under medical care. Although the number, in effect, is controlled, the concern for these infected Peoples’ living, interacting, and holding the civil and constitutional rights as California residents are in question and being held under the scrutiny of the State. The ruling will occur whether or not the infected are released from medical observation.

THE PROPOSAL

Proposition Z would amend the California Constitution to include all persons resurrected in the State of California, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are residents of California. The State shall not make or enforce any law, which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of other residents of the State; nor shall the State deprive any infected person of life, un-dead life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any infected person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

FISCAL EFFECT

As a potential workforce, the Legislative Analyst measured a greater potential in revenue, then the import of goods and aliens. By keeping them in continuous containment, the infected will take up taxpayers’ dollars for housing/living support.

WHAT A YES OR NO VOTE MEANS

A YES vote means that the California Constitution will recognize the rights of the unnaturally born, including those resurrected on and after the August 27th, 2009 infection.

A NO vote means that the unnaturally born will not be recognized as residents in the State of California, and will thereby be kept in containment against their will.

SUPPORTERS SAY

The circumstances of the infected have been unfortunate, and not in any way their fault, but the government’s; it is now the rule of the State and of the citizens to support the rights of these peoples.

The workforce that the infected will provide will raise revenue and discourage the imports of goods and alien workers.

OPPONENTS SAY

By giving the infected rights, the State is endangering its natural born and naturalized citizens. The infected will destroy the sanctity of the living and the values of our children.

The government and the taxpayers of the State will end up paying more money keeping the infected under control than in containment.

PETZ's undead brothers and sisters in Texas have cooked up one heck of a party to rally support for the no-longer-living. From their "Lurch To The Capitol" to screenings of brand new Zombie films, they're pulling no punches to make sure that everyone has a good time. Here's what Dismember The Alamo has to say:

Currently in it’s 3rd year, the Dismember the Alamo Zombie Film Festival is a celebration of all things undead.
